Privacy Policy for Page Vault

Page Vault helps users archive web pages they choose into local Markdown files and ZIP packages.

Data Handled

Page Vault may process page URLs, page text, page metadata, discovered links, images, crawl progress, and extension settings.

How Data Is Used

This data is used only to crawl user-selected pages, generate Markdown archives, show crawl progress, and export ZIP files.

Data Storage

Crawl data is stored locally in the user's browser using Chrome local storage. Exported ZIP files are saved directly to the user's computer through the browser download flow.

Data Sharing

Page Vault does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties.

Remote Servers

Page Vault does not send captured page content, URLs, crawl history, or settings to any external server.

User Control

Users can delete extension data by removing the extension or clearing the extension's site and storage data in Chrome.
